Theft: Bring back our red canoe
July 3, 2008 · Updated 10:33 PM
To the fisherman who has borrowed my red Coleman canoe from Silver Lake, and to the neighbor who might have noticed their neighbor having a new red Coleman canoe in the last six weeks (because this is Oak Harbor, and nothing goes unnoticed!):
Please bring it back. The small white boat you left in its place isnt a fair trade nor is it big enough for my sons. Return it, no questions asked. And by the way, Im OK if you want to use it when you feel the need to fish on Silver Lake - I cant be fairer than that.
