Being a volunteer is one of the most rewarding jobs I know. I enjoy being involved in the North Whidbey Middle School PTA. I enjoy the folks I get to meet and work with. They are very special people! Karen Pasewark, an incredible woman who, although was named treasurer, was actually co-president with me this year. She is a very organized individual who has every detail accounted for. I couldn’t have asked for more and wouldn’t have made it without you!

Bobbie Cane who did an excellent job of documenting our meetings as secretary. Tracey Tomlin, I will truly miss you next year — my friend and my partner in fund-raising! Tricia Flanagan who is a wizard at the computer and a gal that lets nothing keep her from getting that newsletter out — not even surgery!

To our Navy Partners CNATTU who helped us — thank you for taking your lunch breaks to help and for your command to allow it. To the staff and teachers who, despite constant e-mails and meetings, still wanted to work with us, thank you Mr. Kyles and Mr. Evans for your tremendous support of the PTA this year. Lastly, (but by no means least) to all the parents that are too numerous to mention, I give you my most heartfelt thanks. Thanks for volunteering with me and being a part of your child’s education! Despite what they say, your kids will always need your support!
