Government: Filibuster party’s power grab

The trick some Republican politicians will try to use to seize absolute power to appoint judges, the “nuclear option,” is unthinkable and must not be allowed. Democracy is based on voicing opinion and not on giving one side complete control. The filibuster is the option for either party to help add balance to our system and should not be eliminated.

Do we want all religious right judges? No. Do we want all liberal

judges? No. Do we want to trample individual rights and religious freedoms? I don’t think so.

Keep the balance, keep the filibuster option!
