Well, Happy New Year to all.

I hear a lot about death related accidents due to drinking, hit and runs, firearms, motorcycles, etc. My heart goes to those who go through that. I know that car accidents are a big issue on this island. But what I would like to know is why aren’t inhalants brought up or talked about more?

My son Ryan O’Neill died from huffing butane on Jan. 28, 1995. Isn’t the awareness of chemical abuse important enough to speak about? Stop and think. It happened to me. It could happen to you. It is apparent, we can’t be everywhere at once. Think about this. Pauline O’Neill
