Dean Enell offers a positive breath of fresh air for Island County commissioner. He has the intelligence, education and experience to be an outstanding commissioner. With a degree in engineering, and a master’s degree in business, he has the education necessary to understand the complexities of Island County’s government. His experience in the private sector, and as a volunteer, has taught him the leadership skills needed to convert his knowledge into action. If elected, he will be able to work well with the other commissioners on the issues facing county government.

Dean is fiscally conservative and will work to make county government more efficient. He will take a comprehensive look at the budget and budgeting process to make it more efficient, accessible and understandable. He knows that Island County needs more jobs and has plans to attract more island-scale businesses to the county. He also understands the need to grow and diversify the economy while protecting the environment.

Do not believe the false accusations his opponent’s supporters have made. Dean Enell will work to keep the Navy in Oak Harbor.

The incumbent has been in office for 12 years. That is long enough. It is time for a change.

Vote for better government. Vote for Dean Enell, county commissioner.
