Highway 20: End game of highway chicken

There is an easy, low cost way of stopping the game of chicken that takes place all too often at Eire Street and Bayshore Drive on Highway 20. Going west on 20 prior to the corner, put up a sign that reads "Right Turn Only" on the outside lane. Invest in some paint and redo arrows that indicate a "right turn only" on the highway and make the lane across the street, that is suppose to yield to the left, a wide single lane. It is often observed that many start a block or more away speeding up negotiating their position to beat out those in the inside lane.

If it is felt that, in order to do something about this, a consultant and resulting consultant fee would be necessary, please feel free to send me what ever is deemed appropriate and save time.

It is hoped that some action will take place to stop this game of chicken before a serious accident or fatality takes place. If this does occur, there will be those who could have done something and didn't, and will lament, “We need to correct this situation right away.” Perhaps it will be too late to save a life.
