Central Whidbey Youth Coalition would like to urge voters to vote “yes” on the upcoming bond issue for the Coupeville School District. Your vote in favor of a safe, modern, appropriately sized school says, “Our community is united in supporting and empowering youth.” Building a new facility addresses a basic principle of healthy youth development, namely, a quality educational experience.

Two additional benefits are, 1) an environment that would enhance the district’s ability to create and sustain asset building in the school community, and 2) the daily visible proof that our community places a high value on our youth.

CWYC is committed to promoting the 40 Developmental Assets which help to build positive interaction and attitudes between our community and our youth. Of all the worthy causes in need of support, we believe investing in the future of our youth to be the very best cause of all. Please vote “yes” for the school on May 18. This is a great opportunity to put the you in youth!
