Whidbey Island is simply incredible!

Last summer my husband and I stumbled across a place that seemed almost other-worldly. Not only were the vehicles on the roads decorous but so were their drivers. And any time we stopped to ask questions we were met with friendly, open helpfulness. Plus there were no mosquitoes!

What more could a tourist want/need except maybe … a little more of the place?

So, back we came in December, during your “worst snowstorm in seven years,” and I tell you, my buddy and I were smitten enough so that we’re pulling up stakes from 27 acres of the prettiest piece of land you’d ever want to see (besides Whidbey, of course), leaving behind a home in Wisconsin we built with our own two hands 20 some years ago, free falling with no jobs, no home, not even land yet, towards a future in what happens to be the most spectacular piece of God’s earth we’ve ever seen. And we’ve hiked, camped, boated and dragged our children around extensively for years.

So, in case you happen to see Den or me driving around looking for property come May, please smile us your winningest smiles for Whidbey’s where we’ll be, where we’ll have come to stay.

Thanks ever so much.
