You have at length explained the new primary elections that we face. The latest word indicates that it will cost us much more. My question is: Since the changes are being made at the request of the Democratic and Republican parties and their insistence at being in charge of the process, why does the innocent Independent voter have to finance the new procedure with their hard earned taxes? I would much prefer that the parties fund their own controlled primaries.

Any enlightening information would be appreciated.
