School district: I’ll take the spin doctor job

I would like to apply for the new spin doctor job at the school district.

It is interesting how the job jumped from $40,000 to $55,000 per year to $120,000 to $150,000 per year (News-Times, March 31), but I think I could survive on such a pittance.

Of course I would expect a corner view office with walnut furniture, deep pile carpeting, and an executive assistant (got to have the right image), a car (have to go to all those three hour lunch meetings) and an expense account (somebody has to pay for those martinis at lunch).

It must be a really tough job, seeing as how nobody already working in the school system can do it, but I will do my best to put out a “consistent message” to the great unwashed of the community. When can I start?
