It’s nice to see that the City Council has proven itself to be unable to do their jobs. It wasn’t that spending $20,000 dollars to have some artist crave up the oak tree, now they want to spend up to $30,000 dollars to try and save the oak tree by the post office.

Dumb, dumb. It’s too late, cut it down period. To save the tree some have said would require moving all the concrete and blacktop from around the limb spread. Just how would we get into the post office and what does the postmaster say about taking the parking spaces, when it’s hard enough to find one at different times of the day?

The tree is dying, get rid of it, why spend more money, time and whatever. WEAN told you before the parking lot and the sidewalk were poured that this would happened, but oh, no. Now when it’s too late our present bunch of, well, whatever you want to call them, say spend money the city doesn’t have. What more can I say, you sound like our school board.
