School district: Just tell us what's going on
July 3, 2008 · Updated 10:00 PM
How's that again? The school district spent $8,000 to validate what they already knew (Feb 25)? And now they want to hire an expensive non-teaching mouthpiece to spin-doctor school information out to us ignorant taxpayers?
Give me a break. I realize injecting logic and reason into school issues is an exercise in futility, but how about this: Let's have the people we already pay big bucks to run the district tell us what's going on, and use the $40,000 to $55,000 to hire another teacher, or not spend the $40,00 to $55,000 per year at all, forever.
No wonder the school district credibility is lower than a gopher's belly button. Take a hint, when you're already in a hole, the first thing is to quit digging.
