On the subject of minority teacher representation in the classroom, two questions come to mind that beg asking.

What is the difference between a majority teacher and a minority teacher other than race?

If we are striving for a color blind society of equals, why do we continue to divide ourselves with such talk of teacher or student minority quota representation in the classroom?

I believe students understand that there will always be minorities and majorities in the world societies. It appears to me that we adults of this world are the ones that have a problem understanding that fact and have trouble dealing with it.
