Memo to Scott Hornung: Take action required to play Oak Harbor High School home football games at Memorial Stadium. If necessary, vote "yes" on local bonds and levies that would provide a safe facility for our students and community.

If there is a plan out there that you would actually vote to pass, please share it with us. We're dying to know, because you've shot down our every attempt to "solve the problem" of Memorial Stadium.

Temporary "Band-aid" solutions like importing bleachers so we can humbly sit on the visitors side of our home football games is the lame result of years of the Scott Hornungs out there who refuse to be a part of a real solution.

Heed your own advice, sir: "Take charge. Be proactive." Vote "yes" next time.
