Lone protester: Poor example from grandfather

I am amazed! I think I have just been exposed to a new and ugly definition of grandfather! That any grandfather would viciously attack his grandson in the editorial page of the paper, and for the political reasons that were expressed is ethically unbelievable to me.

I am a 33-year Navy veteran, a grandfather and a Clinton Democrat. I am nearing 85 and have never witnessed such a venomous attack! Possibly Jerry Falwell, or Oral Roberts or some other pious religionist could have exemplified such hypocritical bad taste.
