School bond: Build needs, not wants

Doesn’t the school board listen to the voters? We said no to their bond, mainly because it was not what was needed, but what they wanted. There is a difference between need and want.

Cut back on some of the nice to have items, extra practice fields, parking spaces and an unneeded performing arts center. Let the city build one on the land given to them for that reason.

Also that the money must be used for what it was intended, not as the school board wants. Have an independent group oversee how the money is spent. It could be made up of the concerned people for better schools. If there are not changes, I for one with not change my vote.
