In many pro and con bond letters, I’ve failed to see enough letters written about the number of great kids and good families that live in Oak Harbor, who presently support all the schools here, both financially and in volunteer hours to enhance their kids’ education.

As a community, we don’t want to forget that good schools bring in, and keep, good families. As a military family, I don’t want to forget to support the school her for military families that will be here after me.

Being a taxpayer and property owners in Oak Harbor, I have been supporting the state and public services that do not directly affect me. But I can directly affect the quality of schools and education in Oak Harbor by voting yes on March 11.

The facts have been presented to show the need for renovating the high school. Don’t fail to recognize how much Oak Harbor needs this bond to pass! Good families make decisions based on good schools. Oak Harbor needs good families in its community.
