School district: Timid about property tax

Why is it that every time I turn around some city, county and or state office is looking to increase property taxes for some reason or another?

I propose that home owners who have children pay increases as long as their children are in grades 1 to 12. The home owners who don’t have children should pay six years for school (local and state) and be dropped from an other type of school tax rolls in the future.

I’ve become timid of paying for things I’m not using. Even if I chose to go to the local college my property tax is for state schools and would not allow me to attend for the payment taken out of my property taxes. I along with the rest of the property owner would have to pay again to attend classes.
