I would like to thank Oak Harbor Fire Department, Oak Harbor Police Department and everyone else involved in making Christmas become real for my children. Sunday night, we were getting ready to sit down for dinner when all of a sudden there were lights and sirens coming from out in the parking lot of our apartment.

Several of us went out to see what was going on. There were several emergency vehicles in the road when suddenly appeared Santa from on top of the fire truck. I ran back in and got the kids and they were so happy their faces glowed. Santa and his helpers were handing out stuffed animals and a bag that had books, crayons, and many other things.

I almost started crying as I stood by and watched all these kids have a dream come true. This was the first time I have ever seen anything like this. I believe that there is a Santa Claus, not just one, but many. I thank all of the Santas out there that made this dream come true for my kids and the rest of the kids out there.
