Government: This cow eats too much

Our government is like a cow. You put hay, in the form of money, in one end, and the milk of human kindness is received from the other. A problem is, there is about a 5 to 1 ratio between feed and milk, government is about 20 percent effective. Another is that the people receiving are seldom the ones feeding the cow. For the milk drinkers, there is never enough since the demand always outstrips the supply.

Another is that the cows have gotten out of the constitutional pen and into the storehouses and the grain fields of business. Even now, the cows are suing the growers for more. I fear that if they don’t stop destroying the production, everyone, cows included, will find himself or herself in the midst of a famine. The only fat people will be the ones we have chosen to keep the cows corralled. That is socialism.
