I am writing hoping you will publish this letter in your newspaper. I am an assistant coach in the minor league here in Oak Harbor. Saturday, June 1, I lost the battle and made the mistake of losing my temper with another coach in front of the boys and apparently made a bigger scene that what I had perceived.

I would like to apologize to all the parents and players that were there for my actions. I never intended to make a scene or lose my temper and I lost the battle on both counts. Again, my sincerest apologies to everyone that had to witness my lack of self-control.
