School district: School boundary changes are coming
July 3, 2008 · Updated 9:21 PM
Apparently the Oak Harbor School District doesnt want the public to know school boundary changes are coming. They plan to have a boundary change proposal in front of the school board by the end of the month.
We live a half mile from Broad View Elementary School and with the new boundary change proposal our children will attend Hillcrest Elementary School. We chose this neighborhood we live in so that our children could walk to school and not have to worry about the hectic bus schedule.
If youre interested in seeing if you will be affected by these boundary changes you can stop by the school district office and view them.
We also suggest you attend the next Boundary Committee meeting, Thursday, April 18 from 5-7 p.m. at the Administrative Services Center (Fireside Room). The first half hour of this meeting is open to public input.
