Naval air station: Stay within flight pattern

If the Navy is so good why can’t they stay in their flight pattern? The turn for the runways is out over the water by Dugualla Bay and not over west Frostad, where my family has lived since before the Navy was here. The noise has gotten even worse. We used to have Navy planes crash in our fields.

So where is the safety for islanders that have been here before the Navy? I guess you never had plans flying in one door and out the other. Commercial planes are quieter than the Navy planes.
