Boy Scout Troop 53 would like to extend a big thank you to the Whidbey

Island community for their support of the troop’s recent Christmas wreath and Christmas tree recycle holiday fundraisers.

Both fundraisers were a resounding success and the troop plans to continue each as an annual fundraising event. Donations raised by these two fundraisers will help defray the cost of the boys’ attendance at annual Boy Scout summer camp and other scouting activities.

Lisa L. Grosso of Coupeville is treasurer for Boy Scout Troop 53.
