The Oak Harbor City Council has suggested that the Flintstone Park be renamed. Shame on you for even suggesting that the name be changed and then to change it to someone who is not known. I am writing in opposition to changing the name of Flintstone Park.

I am 95 years old and have seen many changes in our beautiful city. The Flintstone Park is known by so many people around the world because of its popularity. The Flintstone car and park are a drawing card to Oak Harbor. This is a delightful part by the beautiful Oak Harbor Bay where people can enjoy the view, the seagulls and the Flintstone cartoon characters.
