Letters to the Editor

Touched by article in the Whidbey News-Times | Letters

We are so touched and terribly moved by your article about our daughter Morgan Fick Williams and the growing number of comments and photos from our daughter Morgan’s classmates and many friends in Oak Harbor.

We can’t thank everyone enough for wanting, also, to keep her alive in all of our hearts.

No one needs to tell you how devastated our family is losing her, and in this never-thought-of, horrible way.

We are overwhelmed by the love and heartfelt caring being expressed by many she knew, or didn’t know, throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Thank you so much, and take care of yourselves.

I can only encourage everyone to spread-the-word: please never drink and drive. I haven’t driven for several years, because I don’t want to kill anyone, at my age.

Now, we all know, it can happen, even to you as it has to our beloved Morgan.

With so many wonderful memories of you dear Oak Harborites, Charlie and I, too, have not let Oak Harbor and you folks be far from our thoughts, almost daily, thanks especially to you at the Whidbey News-Times and whidbeynewstimes.com
