Need change at intersection | Letters

Editor,

What can we do to stop the madness of the kamikaze lane cutters as Highway 20 merges from two lanes down to one at the Albertsons shopping center?

I am so tired of literally being run off the road by some hot shot that gets in the right hand lane to try and bypass the courteous drivers who are waiting their turn.

The signs clearly mark that the lane ends but that doesn’t seem to make any difference to those who want to get that slight edge.

I’d be curious to find out how many accidents occur at that intersection as a result of lane cutters.

I have had drivers try to force me out of the way all the while yelling and flipping me off like I am in the wrong. City officials, there must be something we can do to regulate this nightmare?

I for one do not want to wind up in a fatal accident because some numbskull has to be at the head of the pack.
