Oak Harbor Lions sell out of Christmas trees | Letters

December 11, 2012 · Updated 3:12 PM

The Oak Harbor Lions Club would like to extend a huge thank you to the Whidbey Island community for the support given to our Christmas Tree Sales annual event.

Our fundraiser was a complete success and we are sold out of trees.

By buying your Christmas tree from the Lions, you have made it possible for those in the community to have a better quality of life through free health screenings, eye and ear exams, eyeglasses and hearing aids, the loan of medical equipment, scholarships and home access ramps.

With your support, the Oak Harbor Lions Club can also support organizations like Oak Harbor Help House, Relay for Life, Special Olympics, Whidbey General Hospital Foundation and much more in the new year. The members thank you and wish you a safe and healthy 2013.
