Theft won’t hinder holiday spirit | Letters

First we would like to thank the person who put a Christmas wreath on our fence at the beginning of our driveway on Cultus Bay Road and also placed one on our neighbor’s fence as they did last year.
What a wonderful gift in the spirit of the season. God bless you, whoever you are.
Second, to the person who stole our wreath and a day later stole our neighbor’s, shame on you! You’re what we call “island idiots.”
God bless you also. You’re going to need it. You’ve got a lot to ask forgiveness for, but we do forgive you and we’re not going to let such a juvenile prank ruin such a wonderful gesture by someone very thoughtful.
