As the secretary-treasurer of the Teamsters Union representing the Island County deputy prosecutors I would like to clarify any misunderstanding of my comments to News-Times reporter Jessie Stensland early last week. The union received four ballots from the five deputies. All four ballots were in support of Mr. Selby. When asked I indicated that the overwhelming majority supported Mr. Selby.

The union office has now received the fifth ballot and that individual has supported Mr. Selby. The vote now is unanimous as they have all endorsed Mr. Selby. I hope this clears up any confusion.
