Kudos to Jessie Stensland, who delivered an entertaining article (News-Times, April 19), which was one of the most humorous displays I have read in a long time. Thank you. I relished the picturesque, detailed depiction of that fateful Monday morning, when Steven Selby was greeted with a termination letter, a cardboard box, and given 15 minutes to vacate the premises. Thank heavens Greg Banks was enlightened about Selby’s deceitful appearing conduct, as implied in Stensland’s article.

The evident characteristics Selby appeared to emit were that of an arrogant, unprofessional man. How can a man, who was dubbed bitter and angry, conceive he will win the November prosecutor election? Why would we want such a man to represent Whidbey Island? Temper, temper. I have to admit, I savored the moment I read the headline. Yes, Mr. Selby, “You’re fired.”
