District sets wrong priority

I have to wonder, if the Oak Harbor School District is in such need of repair, etc., then why did the recent $6.9 million just approved by property owners not go for these repairs rather than a stadium? Are there priorities?

The repairs to the school should have been first. How much more are we going to be asked to pay? How much more can we afford? Two hundred dollars or more a year added to my property tax is quite a bit.

Maybe raising school activity fees as other schools do may help with the cost of these repairs. Not all of us have children attending, now or in the future.
