Overwhelming support cited

On May 23, Kim and Kailee Gieratz lost everything in a devastating house fire. Thanks to Bill Young, they are still with us today. Thank you Bill! We would also like to thank the American Red Cross for being there that night. Remember to support the Red Cross because they are there for all of us. What a great community! This community has pulled together and overwhelmed us all with donations to Kim and Kailee. We had the privilege of meeting so many generous people and it has made us grateful for the community we live in. What a “spirit of community” we belong to.

We would also like to thank the following businesses: Napa, Oak Harbor Auto Center, Carquest of Oak Harbor, Midway Florist, The Greenhouse Florist and Nursery, Connolly Dist., Albertsons, Saar’s Marketplace, Wind and Tide Bookshop, Wal-Mart, Collection’s Boutique, Whidbey Furniture, Broadview Appliance, Oak Tree Antiques, Kit’s Camera, Enterprise Computer Service, and Shady Ladies. If we missed anyone, we’re truly sorry. Thank you again, Oak Harbor!
