We don’t live in Coupeville and cannot vote, but we feel that Coupeville is bigger than just the “town limits.” We are fifth and sixth generation Coupevillites, if this counts.

We have known Nancy Conard for her whole life. Nancy managed the school budget superbly for many years, making certain the budget was always balanced.

Nancy loves this town just like we and many others do. She is doing great things to make sure we and the next generations will want to live here. Some of her accomplishments that we like are:

• Healthy local economy.

• Balanced budgets.

• Quality controlled growth.

• Stable water rates.

• Considerable improvements of the local streets.

• Twenty acres of the Krueger Farm for “open space.”

• Instigating using storm water and “reclaimed water” from the waste water treatment plant for farm irrigation, thus helping clean up and protect Penn Cove.

Some people try to find fault with Mayor Conard, Bob Clay, and other “common sense” people, but everyone has faults. Please look in the mirror before making statements or accusations that are feeding on rumors or half-truths.

Come our to vote and support Nancy Conard for our mayor, it will be a “win-win” solution for the whole Coupeville area.
