Sue Karahalios, thank you for your service over the past four decades throughout the community. You have educated countless students, spanning across generations. You have done your own homework in order to make informed and reasonable decisions in the political realm. All of the hours you have spent volunteering your time have been for the betterment of others.

You have always had the best interest of those around you at heart and I greatly appreciate that. You served the residents of Oak Harbor well and you will be missed by so many. I am sure that for years to come you will remain a resident people can count on for immeasurable insight and wisdom. And most of all I want to thank you for teaching me the drive that still keeps me going on a daily basis. Now please, I insist that you go enjoy the meaning of retirement, even if it is over three years past due.
