More houses increase crime

I would like to give a shout out to the people of Whidbey Island who agree with me that there are far too many houses being built. Trees are being stripped from the Island in order to build more houses that no one can afford. The wildlife here is being shoved aside in favor of more houses left to stand empty.

Who authorized this? Banks? For what, more money? What is this, a game of Monopoly? Whoever owns the most property wins?

Well, what about the losers? What about the families here that work their butts off for a few extra dollars to pay for a home they can’t afford? What about the wildlife that keeps getting shoved aside? What about the crowding here in Oak Harbor?

That’s why the crime rate has increased in the past five years. Crowding leads to insanity. Insanity leads to who knows what!

So, would somebody please do something about this mess before it gets completely out of control?
