Website pop-up ads are annoying | Letters

I do enjoy your paper, but recently you have pop-up ads that annoy me while I read and after I click on a topic to read. Again this is annoying. Is there a way to place these ads on the right side of the screen so I have the option to view the ads and not be forced to look at them?
