Riggs’ enthusiasm, work deserve vote

October 23, 2012 · Updated 2:59 PM

Please vote for Tom Riggs as our 10th District state representative. As a candidate, Riggs has definite plans for what he will do to enhance the 10th District and the state of Washington.

To create jobs and enhance the economy, Riggs wants to partner the Washington Investment Trust with community banks to provide access to credit for farms and small businesses. This will give them the opportunity to grow and create jobs.

To preserve worker’s rights, he recognizes that workers may not get everything they ask for, but will defend their right to ask.

To maintain fiscal responsibility, Riggs would set up a revolving infrastructure fund, paying interest back to ourselves, growing the fund, creating local jobs and strengthening our economy.

To fully fund schools, he will work to grow our economy and stabilize our tax base, so we can honor our constitutional commitment to improve our public schools and provide a quality education for every student.

To enhance our quality of life, Riggs will work for a healthy environment that is critical to our resource-based industries, tourism and agricultural economy.

Please vote for Tom Riggs. He is an enthusiastic, hardworking candidate who will truly represent the needs of the constituents of the 10th District.
