Music Fest folks thank community

We, the Oak Harbor Music Festival committee, would like to thank the citizens of Oak Harbor for your tremendous support of our first annual music festival. We are indebted to those of you who so generously gave your sponsorships solely on trust of our vision; and to businesses that loaned us equipment to create a venue that made all those in attendance feel welcome and comfortable, and the community of Oak Harbor proud. The festival would never have run so smoothly without the help of the City of Oak Harbor Public Works, Fire and Police departments and all our hard working volunteers. Thank you, Mayor Dudley, for believing in our vision and allowing us to create a venue never before allowed on the streets of Oak Harbor. We are all still feeling the excitement of seeing how much fun everyone had listening to music, dancing in the streets and enjoying the beauty of our new historic downtown. We look forward to next year, so mark your calendars for Aug. 30 through Sept. 1.
