Story helps recruit drive

The article on Citizens on Patrol written by Cynthia Woolbright (Whidbey News-Times Jan. 2) has greatly enhanced our recruiting effort.

We have three new recruits and believe we can get more.

Our voicemail has been changed to 279-4669, and I can be reached at my home number, 675-6258.

ItÂ’s a good feeling to see the citizens of Oak Harbor volunteering to ensure we keep out crime. Thank you again.

Jack D. Anderson
