Keep us in the ferry loop

Regarding your March 12 editorial, “Heading off a Keystone crisis,” I would like to pass the following suggestions to the Keystone/Port Townsend Ferry Partnership Group, and the Ferry Advisory Committee.

First, if you really want the public to attend, then perhaps setting up a meeting on Thursday at 3 p.m. isn’t the best time. Most citizens are working during your scheduled meeting.

Second, since most citizens cannot attend your meeting on Thursday, then you had better use newspapers, and perhaps a Web site address to keep the rest of us in the loop, every step of the way.
