Money was already there

I guess we should pat Sen. Mary Margaret Haugen on the back when she gets done patting herself for adding money to the supplemental budget for extra ferry runs this summer from Keystone to Port Townsend, but did I miss something or did we not already have money to operate two ferries during the summer months? I guess I’m going to have to start attending some of these town meetings about ferry service if for no other reason than to see how real bookkeepers work and maybe figure out how to move my own money around.

But like one of our other paid representatives in Olympia said it’s a convenience ferry so there’s no big rush to do anything, but if we now only have one small ferry and extra money for extra runs I guess in theory we should now have lots of money to build some new ones, don’t you think?
