New ramp is much appreciated

March 30, 2012 · Updated 2:10 PM

I would like to say thank you very much to the volunteers from Habitat for Humanity and Home Depot for completing a ramp to my home. As a disabled veteran it was difficult for me to leave my home. Now, with this new ramp I am able to go grocery shopping and complete other activities outside my home without worrying about falling down broken steps.

I was impressed at the hard work of these amazing people; not only did they build me a ramp they also fixed my back steps and worked on some of the landscaping of my home. All of this in one day! I would also like to thank Roy Dietz and especially Roger Sada whose determination on attaining the grant to build the ramp made all of this possible. Thank you all.
