Get Sgt. Bowe out of Afghanistan

March 23, 2012 · Updated 1:37 PM

I am a member of the group, “Waiting and Advocating for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.” Bowe was captured by the Taliban on June 30, 2009. Bowe is the only POW in Afghanistan. There is a petition being circulated around the United States to be presented to Congress on March 30, 2012.

Here are some sites for you to check out: www.supportbowe.org and www.dosalute.net.

The above group is located on Facebook.

Bowe is turning 26 on March 28 and we are having a “Day of Action and Prayer Honoring Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.”

Bowe is from Hailey, Idaho and I grew up with his mother and her family in California. Everyone is trying very hard to get the word out there about Bowe. In all my encounters in Oak Harbor and I have spoken with a lot of people, only one had heard about him. I have several retired military personnel, active duty, realtors and us normal everyday people out there spreading the word and getting petitions signed.

Any help you could give to help us would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time.
