Book store now delightful

Downtown Oak Harbor’s Wind and Tide book store, recently purchased by Karin Mueller, is a delight to visit!

Just this last Sunday we were at a meeting in the back alcove of the store, and we were completely surrounded by sweet scents and beautiful book displays and art from local creative talent.

The feeling inside this quaint bookstore is so welcoming and relaxed. The store shelves are full of many books from community donations. Karin has even been known to deliver books to her customers who can’t get in.

This bookstore is really meant to be a community gathering spot. Sometimes local writers are spotlighted on a Saturday afternoon and other times it’s just a great place to have a meeting or sit comfortably with friends.

I would highly recommend a visit soon!
