Let’s keep Island County accountable

On Sept. 1, I saw an Island County car parked on Keystone Spit with no one close by. There were trash bags in the back of the car, two pairs of gloves on the hood, along with a pair of trash pick-up tongs.

Why were they there? Picking up state park trash, fishing or what else?

The license plate number is 3341C. So that’s where my county tax dollars are going. Hey, if they caught salmon, how about giving me some! If you’re going to pick up state park trash, I know a place you can clean up.

I hope some supervisor looks into this and doesn’t brush it off. The person(s) should be docked pay for their actions. Fired!

Put the results of your actions into the editor. Tell ‘em the public is watching how the county spends money in hard times when people are looking for jobs.
