All are invited to support the Impaired Driving Impact Panel of Island County (IDIPIC) by attending a unique fundraiser at The Whidbey Playhouse on Saturday, Aug. 20: An Evening of Comedy & Canapés! The zany antics of the Whidbey Improv Team start 7:30 p.m. but come at 7:00 to enjoy an array of snacks provided by Arby’s, Domino’s Pizza and Taco Bell then and during intermission. Cheap date night indeed!

Beverages included with wine available by donation. After all, IDIPIC is not against alcohol but for saving lives and promotes responsibility.

An Evening of Comedy & Canapés! is sponsored by Munros’ Driving Instruction with in-kind sponsorship by Arby’s, Domino’s Pizza, Taco Bell and Whidbey Marketplace & News.

Tickets for assigned seating are $12.50 in advance and available at the Whidbey Playhouse or call IDIPIC at 672-8219 to order by phone. All proceeds benefit IDIPIC’s prevention work which includes DUI and underage drinking prevention panels in Oak Harbor and Freeland, driver’s ed class instruction and pre-prom safety events at area high schools, middle school safety class presentations and more.

Those who cannot attend but would like to support the cause for “safer kids, safer roads” may mail their donations to IDIPIC, P.O. Box 358, Oak Harbor, WA 98277.

For more information on IDIPIC or the event, visit www.idipic.org.
