Balloon release honors classmates

The Oak Harbor High School Class of 1961 would like to recognize those members of the class who are no longer with us. They were special friends and they will be remembered by their classmates at our 50th reunion Aug. 13 at the Oak Harbor Yacht Club.

Purple and gold balloons will be released in honor of the following: Beverly Basset Norman, Douglas Cays, John Cook, Dave Fakkema, Mike Farrell, Karen Gunsauls Hassler, John Hines, Bill Holt, Jack Love, James Plowman, Fred Prael, Mike Quistorf, James Sterba, Beverly Thurman Hegeberg, Mary Wardner and Tony Westerdyk.
