Transit pays too much for property

I cannot believe Island Transit spent taxpayer money for the  Parker Road property at a cost of $120,000 for a piece of garbage property that anybody in their right mind would never have bought.

That’s  what is wrong with government, it’s easy come easy go. Obviously somebody knows somebody and Louise Harvey was the winner. Tell me Island Transit, have you ever heard of negotiation?

That piece of property was of no value to anybody but Island Transit and worth no more than, at most, maybe $50,000.
