Even a broken clock is right twice a day. And the politicians are now finally looking at the elephant in the middle of the room that media et al can’t see: Bloated, redundant, amorally wasteful Pentagon spending.

Egad, the U.S. spends more on our military budget than every other major developed country combined.

Eisenhower had it right when he warned us to “beware of the military-industrial complex.” Let’s wake up to where our children’s futures are being squandered.

War and preparation for war is a tragic waste of blood and treasure. The fact is, we can afford no further waste of either.
